INVESTIGATORS FROM THE VIRGINIA STATE POLICE WERE ON THE SCENE TODAY... AND HAVE DETERMINED THE REMAINS ARE FROM A BEAR AND NOT A HUMAN.
HIKERS FOUND THE BONES IN THE STONEY CREEK FALLS SECTION OF THE COUNTY... WHICH IS ON HIGH KNOB MOUNTAIN.
